Remedy Engineering was responsible for the site civil engineering and preparation of grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans for a proposed 21-unit affordable housing apartment complex in Redding, California. The project also included preparation of site surveys, a tentative parcel map, and a drainage report. All activities were performed on an accelerated schedule to allow the owner to obtain the necessary permits required to receive tax credits for constructing the affordable housing. This required working closely with the owner, city engineers and planners, project architect, and other engineers to produce the necessary designs and plans to obtain the building and grading permits required for construction. Remedy Engineering prepared a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan that satisfied LEED requirements.
